Happy st pattys day.
I slept most of the day. Was invited to a bar, went to bed instead lol. Got invited to a midnight bon fire, went and had a good time, did not know most people but got to know them. The guy I went with was beiing a jerk but I made the best of it.

Re: Happy St Patrick's Day
I had sooo much bad food today. My husband cooked loads of Irish food and a cake. Today, we went to a parade and festival. It was great and as the food was so expensive, I just had one bowl of corned beef hash, which I think is healthy enough anyway... It's mother's day here today so we've just got to his parents house for dinner, which will include dessert...

Re: Happy St Patrick's Day
We didn't do anything St Pat's Day specific, but did do a small birthday party for me that included loads of pizza, cake, junk food, and cake flavored vodka mixed with (non-diet) creme soda - that was really good. It was stressful dealing with the food and the booze (I actually got an "are you fucking kidding me?" from a friend when she caught me measuring out my vodka and soda with a tablespoon - oops), but it was nice to see friends and hang out. I haven't done as much of that as I should lately.
We did a repeat with my husband's family (and without the booze) the next day. Ugh. I'm glad the weekend is over, but I have to do the whole thing again in my hometown in a couple of weeks (combined with another birthday). Still stressing about that.
