Turned a corner

Things are going good. I'm happy. I'm getting out and doing things I enjoy, I'm making new friends and catching up on actually living my life. I passed my driving test today and I'm just looking forward to all the other things I can achieve in my future.
I didn't purge once last week and I didn't binge. This is the first time in almost a year and a half. And it feels great. I'm tackling all my banned foods one at a time and I am determined to recover. I want to recover and I deserve to recover so I will.

I don't know how I feel now. I want to binge. I want to purge. I want to restrict. I won't though, or at least I haven't. I know the issue is not food or how I look - I'm losing weight. But I don't want to deal with my feelings like normal people do. I want to turn back to my ED. But I won't. I can't be this way forever. I want to get better - regardless of anything else in my life. It's just so hard at the moment. I have no motivation to eat properly, but I just have to keep going

I'm so proud of you! One day at the time... Temptations will always be there, but it's a learning road.
